In July 2007, a state-of-the-art catering complex was launched for Emirates flights. With over 56,000 m² of built-up space, it is the largest of its kind in the world. The facility includes:
- 2.55 km electric monorail system for meal cart transport
- Automated bin conveyor systems
- 600+ meter vacuum waste system
